What Papi keeps from a paid order
Free is 3%, Pro is 1.5%, Pro+ is 0.5%. The fee comes off after payment is confirmed. If no customer pays, there is no sales fee.
Paystack still charges for processing
Paystack handles Nigerian cards, bank transfer and USSD. Its standard processing charge is separate from the Papi fee and is shown in your order settlement.
Before you choose a plan
Do I need a credit card to launch my store?
No. You can create your merchant account, upload products, choose your theme, and start accepting live customer orders on the Free Starter plan without entering any credit card details.
How do customer payments reach my bank account?
Customer payments are settled directly to your connected bank account, after the applicable fees. Settlement timing follows the payment provider’s schedule.
Can I bring my own .com or .ng domain?
Yes. On Pro and Pro+, you can connect a domain you already own or buy a new .com or .ng domain through Papi. We set up the security certificate for you.
Can I change plans as my business grows?
You can upgrade or downgrade at any time directly from your merchant dashboard. Plan changes take effect immediately without disrupting your active storefront or live checkout.
What happens when I hit my media storage limit?
Uploads are checked against your plan's storage quota before they're accepted, so you'll get a clear error instead of a silent failure if an upload would put you over. Deleting unused images frees up space immediately, or you can upgrade your plan for more room.
Does the AI assistant publish changes to my store on its own?
No. Every change the AI proposes, new copy, a layout tweak, a new section, is shown to you first. Nothing goes live on your storefront until you explicitly approve it.
What stops two customers from buying the last unit of the same item?
Stock is checked and reserved atomically the moment an order is placed, not just displayed as a static number, so two simultaneous checkouts for your last unit can't both succeed.
How do refunds work?
Refunds are handled directly between you and your customer, Papi doesn't sit in the middle of that transaction. See the Terms of Service for the full policy.
